Monaco Yacht Show 2026: The VIP Gifting & Exhibitor Guide

Authentic luxury superyachts anchored at Port Hercule during Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show 2026 (MYS) returns to Port Hercule from September 23 to 26, 2026. As the undisputed global gathering for superyachting, this 35th edition brings together over 560 maritime exhibitors and 120 luxury vessels in the water. For shipyards, naval architects, and charter brokers, presentation along the quays is a direct reflection of brand prestige.

“Most promotional merchandise handed out during exhibition week ends up in hotel wastebaskets before attendees board their return flight,” explains Sandra Ortiz, founder of O2 Marketing House. “When you are welcoming prospective buyers evaluating multi-million-dollar vessels, giving them disposable plastic items actively erodes your perceived craftsmanship.”

We will be on the ground at Port Hercule during the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 to explore emerging maritime hospitality trends and discover firsthand which presentations truly stand out along the quays. Following the show, we will share our live field notes and photo reportage. — O2 Marketing House

The Physical Etiquette of Burmese Teak

Unlike standard trade fair floors, superyachts impose strict material discipline enforced by captains and chief stewards. Hand-laid Burmese teak decking costs upwards of $1,200 per square meter to restore if damaged. Any corporate gift invited aboard an aft-deck or tender must meet three uncompromising criteria:

1. Deck-Safe Non-Marking Bases: Drinkware, tech accessories, and tabletop objects must feature weighted silicone-cushioned or soft felt bases that will never leave black scuffs, scratch high-gloss varnish, or slide during tender transfers.

2. Saline & Sun Resilience: Mediterranean sea air oxidizes low-grade alloys within hours. We specify marine-grade anodized aluminum, culinary 18/8 stainless steel, and full-grain vegetable-tanned leathers that develop a natural patina in marine environments.

3. Subtle Tonal Hallmarks: Ultra-wealthy clientele reject billboard-style advertising. Discerning shipyards favor blind debossed monograms, tone-on-tone embroidery, or discrete geographic coordinates for Port Hercule (43°44′09″N 7°25′24″E) rather than loud commercial typography.
